Edgar T. Walters

Edgar T. Walters, PhD, is a Professor at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston), holding the Fondren Chair in Cellular Signaling and serving as a Ray A. and Robert L. Kroc Faculty Fellow. His research investigates nociceptor hyperexcitability mechanisms in chronic pain, employing electrophysiological, molecular, and behavioral methods across species.
