Edgar Caraballo

Edgar Caraballo is an Associate Teaching Professor and Lead Departmental Advisor in the Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering at Miami University. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University (2008) and has extensive academic experience, including roles as Associate Professor at the University of Carabobo (1993-2003) and Visiting Scholar at Ohio State's Gas Dynamics and Turbulence Laboratory (GDTL). His research focuses on Reduced Order Modeling for flow applications, numerical simulation development, and shock wave boundary layer interactions. Caraballo has contributed to prestigious journals like the AIAA Journal and Physics of Fluids.
