Eddie Bradley is a Senior Lecturer in Biomechanics and Programme Leader for the BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Sciences at the University of Sunderland. His research spans rugby union biomechanics, diabetic foot mechanics, and competency assessment in sports education.
His work involves GPS and microsensor analysis of team sports, physical demands in elite women’s rugby, and educational rubric implementation. His 2024 publications highlight female-specific activity thresholds and entrustable professional activities (EPAs) in sports science teaching.
Recent peer-reviewed articles examine police firearms units’ health, rugby tackle limb preference, and dressage simulator kinematics. Awards include Fellow of the Higher Education Authority, reflecting contributions to academic practice.
