Ed Schlesinger serves as the Benjamin T. Rome Dean of the Whiting School of Engineering at Johns Hopkins University and holds an adjunct professorship in Electrical and Computer Engineering. He leads initiatives to expand the school’s educational and research impact, including translational partnerships and programs addressing societal challenges. His academic career includes roles as a professor and department head at Carnegie Mellon University, where he directed research centers like the Data Storage Systems Center.
