Dr. Lecturer Ece YOLTAY is a full-time academic at Ahi Evran University's Faculty of Engineering and Architecture (Department of Architecture) since 2024, and previously served as a Research Assistant at METU's Faculty of Architecture. Her academic journey includes a PhD in Architecture from METU (2017-2023), an MSc in Architecture (2014-2016), and a BA in Architecture from Gazi University (2008-2013). She holds a BA in French Language and Literature from Hacettepe University (2018).

Her research focuses on the intersection of Architectural Theory, Criticism and Methodology, and Environmental Psychology in Design. She explores how space becomes a site for resistance against othering mechanisms, particularly through queer spatial practices and counterhegemonic urban strategies. Her work critically examines power dynamics in public space construction and the psychological implications of architectural design.
