معرفی
Ebru Toprak is a Gibbs Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Yale University. She holds a PhD from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign under the supervision of Prof. M. Burak Erdoğan. Her research focuses on Spectral Analysis, Partial Differential Equations (PDEs), and Mathematical Physics, with particular emphasis on Dirac operators, dispersive estimates, and applications in general relativity. She co-organizes the Analysis Seminar at Yale with Professors Wilhelm Schlag and Charles Smart.
Her academic journey includes significant contributions to spectral theory and PDEs, highlighted by the receipt of the 2019 AWM Dissertation Prize. Her work bridges pure mathematics and theoretical physics, addressing topics such as black hole spacetime dynamics and relativistic quantum systems.
Recent research projects include studies on the general relativistic Dirac operator, dispersive estimates for singular potentials, and the spectral analysis of half-Laplacian operators. She actively collaborates with experts in harmonic analysis and mathematical physics, as evidenced by her co-authored papers in leading journals like the American Journal of Mathematics and General Relativity and Gravitation.
