Eberhard Küster

Dr. Eberhard Küster is a researcher at the Helmholtz-Centre for Environmental Research - UFZ in Leipzig, Germany, since 2010. He specializes in bioanalytical ecotoxicology, focusing on aquatic organisms' responses to pollutants. His work bridges toxicokinetics, mixture effects, and environmental monitoring.

• Education: PhD in Pharmacology and Toxicology (University of Tübingen, 2000); Diploma in Biology (University of Rostock, 1996).
• Research: Development of Daphnia-based tools for water body monitoring, evaluation of chronic effects of pesticides/pharmaceuticals, adaptation of ecotoxicological tests, and nature-based solutions for pollution mitigation.
