Eben Isaac Lichtman

Eben Isaac Lichtman, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Hematology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine. He is also a member of the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, focusing his research on chimeric antigen receptor T-cell therapies for hematologic malignancies.

Dr. Lichtman completed his medical degree at University of Massachusetts Medical School in 2008, followed by residency at Boston Medical Center (2012-2015) and fellowship at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (2015-2018) in Hematology/Oncology.

His research primarily centers on developing chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapies for patients with acute myeloid leukemia and multiple myeloma. His work spans translational research, clinical trials, and patient outcomes in plasma cell disorders. Dr. Lichtman's expertise includes malignant hematology, myeloma, and CAR T-cell therapy development.
