Ean Ng

Ean Ng is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical, Industrial, and Manufacturing Engineering at the College of Engineering, Oregon State University. She has been at Oregon State since 2013 and previously served as program director for the online engineering management program and senior researcher.

Her educational background includes:

She specializes in quantifying traditionally unmeasurable organizational factors including workplace safety costs, improvement strategy outcomes, and project failure prediction. Her methodologies apply to roadway construction, manufacturing systems, and high-risk workplace environments.

Recognized as an ASEM Fellow, her funded research encompasses economic modeling of advanced technologies (mobile LiDAR, e-Construction) in infrastructure maintenance, business model analysis for continuing education providers, and safety culture quantification in hazardous workplaces.
