Esra Siverekli is a Professor in the Department of Finance at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Gaziantep University, Turkey. She has held academic positions at Harran University (2010-2021), Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University (2003-2010), and Erciyes University (1999-2003), with expertise spanning public finance, budgeting, and local government systems.
