Dr. Eric Landis is an Associate Professor of Management and Program Director of Management at Cumberland University's Labry School of Science, Technology, and Business. He joined the university in 1999 and has held leadership roles including President of the Faculty Senate and Faculty Athletic Representative (FAR). His teaching spans MBA courses and undergraduate subjects like Introduction to Business and Principles of Management.
Education: B.A. and M.A. in Communications from the University of Alabama, and a Doctor of Management (D.M.) in Management from the University of Phoenix.
Research interests focus on organizational theory, business education, and management practices informed by his diverse business experience, including owning/operating talent agencies, software education firms, and restaurants. Awards include two SGA Teacher of the Year distinctions (1998, 2017).
