E. Topan is an Associate Professor of Smart Manufacturing and Supply Chain Planning at the Industrial Engineering & Business Information Systems (BMS-HBE-IEBIS) department within the Faculty of Behavioural, Management and Social Sciences at the University of Twente. His research focuses on enhancing resilience and agility in production systems and supply chains through predictive and proactive planning methods, with applications in capital goods manufacturers and SMEs.
