Dr. Dörte Martens is a Research Associate at the Institute of Psychology at the University of Greifswald. Her research examines the intersections of environment, health, and sustainable development, with current focus on participatory design of urban green spaces. She leads the GeLePa project (2023) investigating neighborhood green space design for health-related quality of life and preventative urban living environments.
Martens' work combines environmental psychology with community engagement approaches to promote sustainable urban planning. She maintains an office at Robert-Blum-Str. 13 in Greifswald and provides consultation by appointment.
