Duncan Leitch

Dr. Duncan Leitch is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Zoology at the University of British Columbia, affiliated with the Biodiversity Research Centre. His research focuses on sensory system adaptations in diverse organisms and how nervous system properties contribute to natural behaviors. He leads a lab with member P. Wu.

Research interests include comparative physiology and evolutionary adaptations, emphasizing interdisciplinary approaches to understand animal sensory biology. His work bridges neurobiology, animal behavior, and ecological interactions.
