Dragana Damjanovic

Dragana Damjanovic is a University Professor of Administrative Law at the Law Faculty of the University of Vienna since March 2025. Previously, she served as Professor of Public Law and Head of the Research Field of Legal Studies at TU Wien (2020-2025), Senior Postdoc and Visiting Professor at the Institute for Austrian and European Public Law (WU Vienna, 2016-2018), and Elise-Richter Fellow (FWF) with research stays at the European University Institute and Salzburg Center of European Studies (2009-2014). She holds a PhD in Law from the University of Vienna (2001) and an LL.M. from UC Berkeley (2004).

• Key research areas: Legal frameworks for sustainable market regulation, infrastructure governance, and environmental/climate protection law.
• Her work bridges public law, European law, and socio-ecological transitions in critical sectors like energy and utilities.
