Dragana Bartolić

Dragana Bartolić is a Research Associate at the Department of Living Systems Sciences, Center for Green Technologies, Institute for Multidisciplinary Research, University of Belgrade. She holds a Doctor of Science degree in Chemical Sciences and specializes in fluorescence spectroscopy combined with advanced algorithms for material characterization.

• Education: Doctoral studies in Analytics (Faculty of Chemistry, University of Belgrade), Master in Physical Chemistry (Biophysics), Bachelor in Biochemistry.

Her research focuses on mycotoxins, plant stress mechanisms, and food chemistry, particularly aflatoxin contamination in maize. She employs fluorescence spectroscopy, EPR techniques, and nanobiotechnology to study oxidative stress and redox processes in living systems.

Notable projects include the PROMIS grant (2020-2022) for bioaerosol detection and participation in COST Actions CA17111 (omics in grapevine improvement) and CA16101 (forensic imaging). Awards include COST Action scholarships for training at Maastricht University and international spring schools.
