Douglas McWilliams

Douglas McWilliams, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Management at the University of West Georgia's Richards College of Business. He holds a B.S. in Industrial Management (1990, Jackson State University), an M.S. in Industrial Engineering (1995, Mississippi State University), and a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering (2004, North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University). His teaching focuses on operations management, logistics, supply chain management, and lean six sigma methodologies.

Dr. McWilliams has consistently taught courses such as Operations Management (MGNT-3615), Logistics (MGNT-3625/MGNT-4610), Supply Chain Management (MGNT-4615), and Lean Six Sigma (MGNT-3640) across multiple semesters since at least 2020. He also supervises internships in process improvement and logistics. His office is located in Roy Richards Sr. Hall, Room 245, with office hours on Monday/Wednesday 12:00-4:00pm or by appointment.
