Douglas Hanley is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Pittsburgh. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania (2014) and a B.S. from the California Institute of Technology (2006).
His work explores topics such as optimal innovation policies, the impact of infrastructure on collaboration, and the role of platforms like Wikipedia in scientific progress.
