Dorothy Wiley

Dr. Dorothy Wiley is a Professor at the UCLA School of Nursing, specializing in public health prevention strategies for sexually transmitted infections like HPV and HIV. Her research focuses on HPV vaccine adherence, cancer prevention, and improving early diagnosis of HPV-related cancers. She leads clinical trials, including contributions to the first U.S.-approved HPV vaccine, and advocates for reducing vaccination gaps among youth and adults. Dr. Wiley holds leadership roles in organizations such as the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology, and has conducted research on anal cancer screening in marginalized populations.
