Dorothea Barth

Dorothea Barth serves as a Lecturer at HTW Berlin (Berlin University of Applied Sciences) within the School of Design and Culture. Her academic appointment spans two specialized Master's programs: Clothing Technology/Garment Manufacturing and Fashion Design, where she instructs students in technical garment construction, textile innovation, and design methodologies for the contemporary fashion industry.

Her research and teaching expertise focuses on Fashion Design, Textile Technology, and Garment Manufacturing, with emphasis on sustainable production systems, advanced textile engineering, and the integration of traditional craftsmanship with modern manufacturing techniques. This interdisciplinary approach bridges creative design with industrial applications in the global textile sector.
