Doris Wang

Dr. Doris Wang (MD, PhD) is an Associate Professor in the Department of Neurological Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Medicine. She specializes in pediatric neurosurgery and movement disorders, particularly Parkinson's disease and dystonia, using deep brain stimulation (DBS) technologies.

Her research focuses on neural network dynamics during motor learning and DBS optimization for gait disorders. She leads NIH-funded studies on cortical-basal ganglia interactions and has developed adaptive neurostimulation systems for Parkinson's patients.
