Doris Geide Stevenson is a Professor of Economics at the Goddard School of Business & Economics at Weber State University since 1996. A native of Germany, she earned her Diplom-Volkswirt (MA in Economics) from Julius Maximilian University of Würzburg and a PhD in Economics from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1995.
Her teaching focuses on global macroeconomics, international finance, and money and banking. She has contributed to the Goddard School's Master of Business Administration program and its capstone research methods course. Geide-Stevenson’s research initially centered on international trade and factor movements across countries with varying social policies, but has more recently shifted toward teaching pedagogy and general economics.
