Doris Cheng is an Adjunct Professor and Part-Time Faculty at the University of San Francisco School of Law, where she also serves as Co-Director of the Intensive Advocacy Program and Academic Director. She is a practicing attorney at Walkup, Melodia, Kelly & Schoenberger, specializing in complex injury cases involving third-party negligence. Cheng is actively involved in legal education and rule of law initiatives, having trained lawyers and judges in the U.S., Mexico, Kosovo, Macedonia, Singapore, Belfast, Glasgow, and Caribbean countries. She currently chairs the National Institute for Trial Advocacy’s Western Region Advocacy Teacher Training Program and has received national recognition for her advocacy work.

Recent initiatives include leading trial skills training for criminal prosecution offices in Glasgow, Scotland, and multiple Caribbean nations. She has been recognized as one of Northern California’s top 50 women lawyers and is listed in Best Lawyers of America and Super Lawyers.
