Dorian Traube is the Neidorff Family and Centene Corporation Dean of the Brown School and a Professor at Washington University in St. Louis. Previously, she served as a professor at the Suzanne Dworak Peck School of Social Work at the University of Southern California. She is a licensed clinical social worker in California and New York.
Education:

- Master’s and doctoral degrees in Social Work from Columbia University
Research Focus:
Traube’s work emphasizes technological solutions for early childhood health, education, and parent support. Key areas include telehealth innovations, virtual home visitation programs, and interventions addressing child maltreatment and mental health. Her research has been funded by the NIH, Parsons Foundation, Queenscare Foundation, and Overdeck Foundation.

Traube leads the Brown School’s strategic vision, including the Driving Equity 2030 plan prioritizing debt-free MSW education, the Public Exchange for policy collaboration, and a university volunteer time-off program.
