Dr. Dora Cavallo-Medved is a Professor and former Acting Dean of the Faculty of Science at the University of Windsor. Her academic roles include leadership in undergraduate and graduate education, research administration, and community outreach. She specializes in cancer biology, genomics, and proteomics, with a focus on biomarker discovery and clinical trial accessibility. Her research has addressed metastasis mechanisms in breast and prostate cancers, as well as inflammatory breast cancer pathogenesis. She has pioneered educational initiatives such as the Science Academy program for high school students and the Preparation for Academic Success in Science (PASS) transition program.
