Dooti Roy is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Connecticut's Department of Statistics within the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. She works full-time as Director of Global Biostatistics and Data Sciences at Boehringer Ingelheim Inc., USA, where she develops innovative clinical research methodologies and statistical visualization tools.

Her research focuses on the application of Bayesian statistics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning in drug development. At UConn, she created and teaches a unique summer program that introduces students to advanced biostatistical topics required for clinical trial design.
As a global product owner and methodology statistician at Boehringer Ingelheim, she leads cross-functional collaborations to solve complex problems in clinical research. She resides in New York City.
