Donna Marie Fick

Donna Marie Fick, PhD, RN, holds the Elouise Ross Eberly Professorship and is affiliated with the Ross and Carol Nese College of Nursing at Pennsylvania State University, with a joint appointment in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health. Her work focuses on delirium management in elderly populations, particularly those with dementia. She leads major NIH-funded projects addressing delirium identification and intervention strategies in clinical settings.

Her research spans 35 years, with over 200 peer-reviewed publications and a h-index of 38. Key projects include the READI-SET-GO initiative to create gero-friendly healthcare organizations and the END DSD study for early nurse detection of delirium in dementia patients.
