Donka Novovic is a Royal Academy of Engineering Visiting Professor at the University of Birmingham's Department of Mechanical Engineering, School of Engineering. She is also a Rolls-Royce Engineering Fellow specializing in advanced machining technologies for sustainable manufacturing. Her roles include academic collaboration, industrial lectures, and supervision of research projects in machining and sustainable manufacturing.
Education:

Research Interests: Focuses on sustainable machining technologies for advanced materials, high-performance machining systems, and industrial-academic collaboration. Her work bridges theoretical research with practical industrial applications to enhance manufacturing efficiency and sustainability.

- Over 20 patents in machining technologies, including cutting fluids, abrasive tools, and clamping systems.
Advisory Roles: Chair of the Industrial Advisory Board at the University of Birmingham's Mechanical Engineering department. Collaborates with Rolls-Royce and other industry leaders to ensure academic research aligns with industrial needs.
