Dr. Dongkyu Lee is Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of South Carolina. His research develops nanostructured oxide materials for advanced energy conversion and storage devices including solid oxide fuel cells and batteries.
His laboratory employs thin film deposition techniques to engineer materials at atomic scales. Research spans fundamental properties of complex oxides to device integration, with emphasis on improving energy efficiency.
