Donald T Donovan

Dr. Donald T Donovan is a full-time Professor and Chair of the Bobby R. Alford Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine. He serves as Chief of Service at Ben Taub General Hospital (BSLMC) and specializes in clinical care for thyroid disorders, head and neck tumors, laryngeal/voice disorders, and endoscopic sinus surgery.

• Training: Otolaryngology Residency at Baylor College of Medicine (1976); Head and Neck Surgery Fellowship at Columbia University Affiliate Hospitals (1981)

His research focuses on thyroid cancer, tracheal stenosis, and endoscopic techniques for upper aerodigestive tract disorders. Recent publications highlight innovations in surgical navigation, collagen vocal cord augmentation, and endoscopic management of Zenker's diverticulum.
