Donald Palisaitis is a full-time Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, Université de Montréal, within the Department of Medicine. He is an experienced interventional cardiologist with expertise in acute coronary syndromes and myocardial infarction.

Scientific activities include co-directing national workshops on coronary physiology (since 2000) and interventional cardiology symposia (since 2005) for the Canadian Cardiovascular Society.
