Donald Butler

Donald Butler is a Professor at the Australian National University (ANU) within the College of Law. Holding a B.Sc. (Hons 1) and Ph.D. from the University of Queensland, he specializes in ecology, biogeography, and environmental policy with a focus on biodiversity conservation through market-based incentives and regulatory frameworks.

His research bridges fundamental ecological studies with applied policy development, particularly in Australian agricultural landscapes.
