Don Grandis

Dr. Donald Grandis is a Volunteer Clinical Professor in the Division of Cardiology within the School of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). He holds an MD from Virginia Commonwealth University and a BA in Philosophy from the University of Virginia, with clinical training completed at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

His clinical expertise lies in general cardiology, with specific skills in interpreting stress tests and nuclear cardiac images. His research is dedicated to reducing cardiovascular disease risk, with a significant recent focus on Long COVID, cardiopulmonary exercise testing, and innovations in cardiac rehabilitation, including virtual and app-based models.
