Don Gibson serves as an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Physician Assistant Studies at Marquette University, where he has mentored students in clinical rotations for over 10 years. His expertise stems from continuous practice in Emergency Medicine since graduating from Marquette's PA program in 2004.
His educational background includes a Math/Science teaching degree from The Ohio State University and a Master's in Environmental Education Administration from George Williams College. This foundation supports his unique approach to clinical education.
Professionally, Mr. Gibson's career spans 17 years as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), middle school math and science teaching, ownership of a teenage travel camp, and dedicated Emergency Medicine practice. These experiences directly inform his hands-on teaching methodology for PA students in high-acuity clinical settings.
He actively supervises Marquette PA students during emergency department rotations, emphasizing real-world application of clinical skills and patient management strategies developed through decades of frontline healthcare experience.
