Don Dugi is a Professor of Political Science at Transylvania University since 1975. His teaching philosophy emphasizes active student engagement, rejecting passive learning models. He was honored as Kentucky Professor of the Year (2003) and held the Bingham-Young Professorship (1999-2002), which examined race in pedagogy. His research focuses on U.S. politics, public policy, and political theory.
