Don Daniels

Don Daniels is an Associate Professor of Linguistics at the University of Oregon's Department of Linguistics within the College of Arts and Sciences. His research focuses on endangered languages of Papua New Guinea, including documentation, comparative reconstruction, and morphosyntactic analysis. He has conducted fieldwork since 2006 on languages such as Sgi Bara, Sirva, and Wiru, emphasizing theories that integrate synchronic and diachronic perspectives.
