Don Bouchard is a Professor of Humanities at Crown College, affiliated with the School of Liberal Arts and Education and the Department of Humanities. His work bridges academic scholarship with creative expression, focusing on literacy, literature, and biblical philosophy.

Bouchard’s research spans literacy and its motivational dimensions, American and world literature, poetry, and intersections of biblical philosophy with educational practice. He has co-authored a forthcoming book on the Seven Last Words of Jesus from the Cross, integrating Scripture, poetry, and theological reflection, and has presented over 400 poems and prose pieces at Crown College events.
His academic contributions include serving as a reviewer/editor for graduate theses, a dissertation, and a textbook chapter. He is also recognized for his work as a published reviewer for the ALA’s CHOICE Reviews, with a sample 2017 review highlighting community engagement in higher education.
