Don Baur was an adjunct professor of wildlife law at Vermont Law School (VLGS), teaching Ocean and Coastal Law since 1998. He also held roles as an instructor at the Environmental Law Institute and American Bar Association. His legal practice focused on public lands, marine resources, endangered species, and animal welfare advocacy. He was a partner at Perkins Coie’s Environment Energy and Resources practice group in Washington, D.C., and served as General Counsel to the U.S. Marine Mammal Commission.

Research Interests: Don specialized in ocean and coastal law, marine biodiversity, and wildlife conservation.
