Dominique Guillot is an Associate Professor at the Department of Mathematical Sciences in the College of Arts & Sciences at the University of Delaware. He holds a B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. in Mathematics from Université Laval, and postdoctoral training from the University of Southern California and Stanford University.
Research Interests include matrix analysis, combinatorial matrix theory, complex analysis, and their applications to data science and engineering. His work explores positivity preservation in matrices, critical exponents in graphs, and transformations of kernels and special functions.
Publications span topics like matrix positivity preservers, total nonnegativity of GCD matrices, and applications to climate informatics and signal processing. Recent articles focus on fixed-dimensional matrix analysis and its interdisciplinary implications.
Teaching involves courses such as Analytic Geometry and Calculus, Probability Theory, Linear Algebra, and Advanced Data Science techniques, with a focus on graduate and undergraduate education.
