Dominika Seidman, MD, MAS is an Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Reproductive Sciences at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). She practices at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and is affiliated with the Bixby Center. Her clinical work focuses on reproductive health services for diverse populations, particularly vulnerable groups.
Dr. Seidman completed her medical education at Harvard Medical School (2009), followed by an Ob/Gyn residency at Northwestern University (2013). She then pursued specialized fellowships at UCSF in Reproductive Infectious Disease (2014) and Family Planning (2017).
Her research spans HIV prevention, family planning, reproductive infectious diseases, and specialized pregnancy care for homeless women with substance use disorders. She has developed expertise in safer conception options for HIV-affected couples and the implementation of pre-exposure prophylaxis during pregnancy.
