Dominik Srienc is a researcher at the Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt, affiliated with the Robert Musil Institute for Literary Research – Carinthian Literature Archive and the Department of Linguistics and Literature. He contributes to academic writing support through the Writing Center and is actively involved in research on bilingual literary practices and regional literary history.
His research interests span General Literary Studies, German Studies, and Slavic Studies, with a focus on writing processes, text genesis, Carinthian Slovene literature, avant-garde movements, and archival studies. His work bridges literary analysis, regional cultural history, and multilingual literary production.
Dominik Srienc is currently engaged in an FWF-funded research project titled Bilingual literary practice of Carinthian Slovenes after the discontinuation of the mladje (1991) and their position in the supra-regional literary interaction space, hosted at the Institute of Slavic Studies, University of Graz. This project highlights his expertise in minority literature and cross-regional literary networks.
He supports academic writing as part of the Writing Center (SC) and conducts consultations by appointment. His work is grounded in literary archives and textual scholarship, contributing to the preservation and analysis of Carinthian literary heritage.
