Doga Eralp is a scholar-practitioner of international conflict resolution at American University’s School of International Service. With over a decade of experience in international dialogue facilitation, he specializes in social media and peace processes, cultures of violence, narrative mediation, collective memory, security and peace regimes, regional organizations, international mediation, and democratization. He has consulted for the World Bank, National Endowment for Democracy (NED), and UNOPS.

His research explores the intersection of democratization and conflict resolution, focusing on the Western Balkans, Middle East, Cyprus, EU, and Turkey. He authored the 2012 book "Politics of the European Union in Bosnia-Herzegovina: Between Conflict and Democracy" and edited the 2016 volume "Turkey as a Mediator: Stories of Success and Failure".
Recent publications highlight agonistic democracy in the Western Balkans, EU climate governance, and Turkey-Syria border conflicts. His work spans themes like ethnic reconciliation, sustainable development diplomacy, and ethical implications of drone warfare.
