Dr. DoKyoung Lee is a **Cavanah Chair and Professor** in the Department of Crop Sciences at the University of Illinois. His research focuses on improving perennial grass production systems for sustainable biomass and bioenergy feedstocks, emphasizing genetic and abiotic stress tolerance of grasses, and integrating them into row cropping systems to enhance ecosystem services and water quality.
**Education**: Ph.D. in Agronomy from South Dakota State University (2003), M.S. and B.S. in Agronomy from Chungnam National University, South Korea (1999, 1996).
