Dmitry Sinelshchikov

Dmitry Sinelshchikov serves as an Ikerbasque Research Fellow at the Biofisika Institute, a joint research center of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and the University of the Basque Country (EHU), located in Leioa, Spain. He directs the Membrane Nanomechanics Laboratory within the EHU Science Park, focusing on interdisciplinary investigations at the intersection of physics and biology.

His primary research spans biophysics and nanomechanics, with concentrated expertise in membrane biology, molecular biophysics, soft matter physics, and biomechanics. This work explores the mechanical properties of lipid bilayers and cellular membranes at nanoscale resolutions, integrating advanced physical methodologies to decode membrane dynamics and structural behavior in biological systems.
