معرفی
Dmitry Budker is a Professor of Experimental Atomic Physics at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, affiliated with the Helmholtz Institute Mainz (HIM) and the GSI Helmholtz Center for Heavy Ion Research in Darmstadt. His research focuses on fundamental interactions and symmetries using atomic, molecular, and optical physics techniques, alongside developing optical sensors based on atomic vapor cells and zero/ultra-low field (ZULF) nuclear magnetic resonance.
Education:
- 1963: Born in Russia.
- Studied physics at Novosibirsk State University, USSR, graduating with first-class honors.
- 1993: Earned PhD from the University of California, CA, USA.
Budker's work spans precision measurements in atomic systems, quantum optics, and fundamental symmetry tests. His team's recent publications highlight advancements in parity violation studies, Bose-Einstein statistics validation, and constraints on fundamental constants' variation.
His research group is actively involved in experimental atomic physics, optical sensor development, and ZULF NMR applications.
