Dišić Darija is a Junior Research Assistant at the Department of Pharmacognosy, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Belgrade. She holds a Master of Pharmacy degree (2024) and is currently enrolled in doctoral studies in Pharmaceutical Sciences, module Pharmacognosy.

Her research focuses on the isolation and chemical characterization of bioactive compounds like hesperidin and rutin from plant waste materials, particularly Citrus × sinensis. She has presented her work at national student congresses and is investigating applications of these flavonoids in pharmaceutical contexts. Her recent publications highlight methodologies for sustainable utilization of agricultural byproducts.
