Divya Victor is an Associate Professor in the Department of English at Michigan State University, specializing in innovative poetry that explores representations of systemic and intersubjective trauma. Her research examines literary studies, creative writing, race and ethnic studies, and postcolonial frameworks through experimental poetic forms.
Her research interests focus on:
- 20th/21st century innovative poetry and poetics
- Representations of trauma in literature
- South Asian diasporic experiences
- Postcolonial literary theory
- Race and ethnicity in contemporary poetry
