Divya Suman

Divya Suman is a Researcher and Doctoral Assistant at the Laboratory of Computational Science and Modelling (COSMO), part of the School of Engineering (STI) at EPFL. Her work focuses on electrochemical sensors, IoT-enabled healthcare monitoring, and machine learning applications in quantum chemistry. She is a doctoral candidate in the Materials Science and Engineering program, advised by Professors Giovanni De Micheli and Sandro Carrara.

Her research integrates hardware-software interfaces for multi-panel electrochemical sensors, emphasizing real-time physiological monitoring via Raspberry Pi-based systems. She has developed analytical models for ion-sensing transduction and multivariate calibration using support vector regressors, addressing challenges in sweat-based biomarker detection.

Her recent publications explore machine learning frameworks for quantum chemistry and electronic excited states modeling. Current projects involve optimizing portable, decentralized healthcare solutions through IoT frameworks and sensor integration.
