Ditte Linde is an Associate Professor at the University of Southern Denmark, Department of Clinical Research, Faculty of Health Sciences, with strong affiliations to Odense University Hospital and the Centre for Global Health. She is actively involved in public health research with a focus on maternal health, cervical cancer screening, and violence against women.

Her research spans global health, maternal and perinatal health, intimate partner violence, and digital health interventions. She employs both qualitative and quantitative methods to understand health behaviors and improve screening and care delivery in low- and middle-income countries as well as in Denmark.
Recent publications highlight her work on HPV-based cervical cancer screening in Tanzania, gestational diabetes management in Vietnam, and digital screening for domestic violence in antenatal care. Her research often involves systematic reviews and feasibility studies, reflecting a strong methodological foundation.
- Co-PI of STOP MinoVold: Systematic detection and interventions against violence among pregnant women from ethnic minority backgrounds (2024–2026)
- Principal supervisor of CliMama: Climate adaptation interventions for maternal health in LMICs (2024–2025)
- Project participant in VALID II: Informal support for diabetes in Vietnam (2022–2025)
She has co-supervised PhD students including Karen Andreasen and Lea Ankerstjerne, and regularly contributes to peer review for journals such as BMC Women's Health and International Journal of Law, Crime and Justice. Her public engagement includes media contributions on violence against pregnant women and cervical cancer screening equity.
