Dirk Schulte-Tickmann

Dr. Dirk Schulte-Tickmann is a Research Associate at the Institute of Philosophy at the University of Greifswald since the summer semester of 2024. He previously served as a senior teacher at the integrated comprehensive school in Giessen-Ost from 2012 to present, teaching ethics/philosophy, biology, and Spanish.

Education:

• Studied philosophy, biology, and Spanish for a teaching degree at Justus Liebig University Giessen (2003–2010)
• PhD in philosophy from Technical University of Darmstadt (2021), with a thesis on the naturalistic unity and diversity of knowledge
